Reviews & ratings Vienna - Milan
Trains are bit old and leg room is not that much. I travelled on second class and shared the cabin with 5 other people. Sitting room only.
Staff are helpful, has small wash basin in each small cabin, three persons over cabin, though people taking train alone stay in one cabin due to undercooking of seat. Speed of train doesn't allow reading and has to sleep early. Overall a convenient alternative.
The reason we did not give it 5 stars is unit was cramped, and the food not satisfactory.
We had a very comfortable journey. Must mention in particular the very helpful and efficient service given by the attendant. My sister and I were traveling alone but felt very secure and at ease. Only wish the toilets could be a little better, perhaps they need to be redone. The attendant had to clean out and I don't think that was nice for him and should not have been required.
