Reviews & ratings Paris - Dijon

  • "safe and comfortable"
With the TGV , we can save much time in communication. And the seats are quite spacious.Nice interior decor makes the travelers feel at home. It's great to visit different cities by the system.
  • "A Great Way to Travel"
TGV is fast, efficient and an easy way to travel. We enjoyed travelling Dijon to Paris Gare Lyon. Luggage can be a bit of a challenge getting off the train, especially on the double decker train.
  • "Experience on French Train Sys"
Although we were somewhat apprehensive that the French train system would not live up to expectations we decided to give a try versus traveling by rental car. I must say the experience was a pleasant surprise - everything about the actual experience was top notch. The trains are on time, the personnel staff on the trains were very helpful and the comfort level was quite good.. It is the best I have experienced from traveling all over Europe and the Far East. I would put forth two suggestions: (1) make e-tickets printable on paper sizes that are common to both Europe and the US. A-4 paper in extremely difficult to acquire in the US. (2) Consider different ways to handle large luggage on those routes that are likely to involve tourists. There is luggage space available but it is inadequate when more than two or three people in a couch have large luggage. Overall an excellent experience that I would recommend to others.
  • "Thank you"
Very pleased with the experience. Faultless in every aspect. Glad I used rail to travel. Thank you.
  • "Smooth transfers and on time"
Train transfer from Paris went smoothly and enjoyed the ride.
  • "Travel by Train - it’s great"
Excellent, efficient way to travel in Europe. Great connections and good value for money. Especially recommended for people travelling with only a 20 inch (European size limit) carry on bag. Large suitcases don't fit well and are a hindrance to everyone.
  • "Couple travelling"
This was a short, quick and comfortable journey. It meet my expectations. It would be useful if there were clearer indications of the next station the train was approaching.
  • "very comfortable, convenient"
This TGV lyria from france to switzland is on time. We'd move from Leon to dijon, and the 1st class is clean and comfortable. All messages is visible to be seen with English.Very good.
  • "Easy and comfortable trip"
The train was on time and the car was comfortable.
  • "Wonderful experience"
It is my pleasure to travel with TGV. Smooth, quiet and comfort!
  • "Nice, but a technical problem"
The train was very nice - spacious and clean! But there was a technical problem and we had to get off and wait for another train. We arranged for a taxi to pick us op at St Jean De Losne and it was a mess, because we could not inform the taxi driver of the delay. It was stressful and a struggle, but we eventually got were we needed to be. If it wasn't for this problem, I would have given 5 stars, because it is a really nice train!
  • "TGV CDG to Dijon"
The only negative aspects was that the public address announcements were only in French and there was no electronic signage, so for none French speakers it was difficult to find which station to get off the train.
  • "Quick and efficient"
    Nice transport
  • "Smit review"
The train journey itself was very comfortable and departure and arrival times were strictly adhered to. The station at Dijon, however, is totally inaccessible to older people as escalators or baggage lifts are not installed and no luggage transport services provided.
  • "A comfortable Trip"
The trip to Strasbourg was very comfortable. The train departed and arrived on time.
