a great, convenient way to travel. Meant that we could enjoy the trip rather than concentrating on driving. Went first class as was only 20euro more for a family of 5 than 2nd class!
This was the second time this autumn we travelled by train in France. Both times the train was crouded, we were not seated next to each other and there was absolutely nothing to bye to eat and drink. Both times we asked before entering the train if there would be a restaurant etc on board and they confirmed. The thing was that that was correct except that the did not offer anything to eat or drink. So a long journey 3 1/2 hour without anything did not make us positive and the nice holiday trip became not nice at all. Never again we will travel by train in France or recommend anybody else to do it.
I like it and I hope that soon I will use your service again.
The trip was great, just before Vallance we had an unscheduled stop, which was due to "Un Personne sur La Ligne", we stopped for about an hour at Vallence and then continued on. However after about 10 mins it was decided we couldn't continue and we went back to Vallance, by a different route and to a different station. We waited for another 20minutes and then continued at much greater speed through Burgundy and ended up in Paris only an hour late. WE were given free water and coffee and I think could have applied for a replacement ticket, but we didn't. At all times we were kept well informed.
I have no problems with the trip itself. The price was great but it is hard when one can't get the seats booked as well as the trip. I did quite well this time as I had a window seat facing forward but it is a lottery. I am sure you can add some algorithm to your system to make it even better!
