Reviews & ratings Munich - Paris
My family had a very nice trip through Rail Europe service. Thanks
Took night train between Paris and Munich. The connection was convenient and comfortable.
my fiancee and I booked the "Economy Sleeper" for her first overnight train experience. The coach "assistant" was very helpful after boarding, when she introduced our room, process, and times to us. Although small, the room had enough storage space - we placed one suitcase in the space above the bed, and the other under the bottom bunk, together with smaller luggage. The washbasin area was very well laid out, clean and efficient, with everything we needed. we had a good night's sleep (obviously allowing for the movement of the train), and received our breakfast box in the morning, which was fine, but not plentiful. All in all a good experience!
It's not on time.
No enough room for big luggage and foot, for class 1 it's not good.
It will be much better if all the seats can be orientated in such a way that all of them are always facing the same direction as the train moving. Personally, I find it very weird to be back facing the training moving direction for all my trip so far. thanks.
When we bought the tickets for the same we were provided a double sleeper. Was not sure how it works. When we got into the train we need were directed to our coupe which was very small but very cosy. Its perfect for a couple. The free giveaways were very nice. The breakfast was good. The toilets and the coaches were very clean and nicely maintained. It was a good trip and would like to travel again,
Blanket was not clean.
I bought the first-class ticket at a discounted price, so the ticket is affordable to me. Also the environment and the food in the train are impressive!
Traveling with my family to Paris overnight in a very small triple bunk bed. which had no room for luggage. The train ride was very bumpy and very noisy. The unbuckling of the cars and new cars and stops made for a restless night. It was a late train and then we were 2 hours late arriving in Paris..... The staff were friendly.
Hello,I travelled with my husband by train from munich to paris. We couldn't buy 2 tickets on you site, because it was more expensive than buy 2 separate tickets on the same train. It was also uncorfotable that we couldn't choose our places online, so we had places in different compartment. .
We were 'forced' to take first class as the cheap second class tickets had gone, but we got good value first class. This was the best stage of a long journey, because of the extra space, the upstairs seating, clean loos and facilities, newspaper and meal. Would do it again! Small gripe, no wifi.
It is so much more comfortable to sit on a train where you can move around, knit, read, watch a DVD listen to music without the agression found in airport checkins nowadays. The train was on time and cleaner and more friendly than most airlines.
An enyoable journey that was quiet and comfortable. My only suggestion for improvement is not to serve the food and drink within 30 minutes of the beginning of a 6 hour journey!
