Need a break without the hassle of travelling far?
Eurostar trips are the most convenient way to relax and enjoy a complete change of scenery without even leaving Europe. You could then reach directly London, Paris, Brussels, Lille and Disneyland Paris, but also Avignon, and the French Alps on a seasonal basis.
Going to the City of Love
Paris has always been a much talked-about destination for centuries. But with Eurostar, Paris has really become a dream come true destination. And why bother going to the airport and bearing the heavy security checks and boarding procedures when you can easily avoid all this chaos by boarding on a Eurostar train?
It will take you only a little bit more than two hours (2h15 minutes on average) to reach the capital of love from London St Pancras. And if you’re not sure about your time of travel, Eurostar timetables will give you all the flexibility you need: departures between London St Pancras station and Paris Gare du Nord are offered to the passenger every hour or so during the week, making Eurostar trips between the two capital cities very easy, either you’re travelling for business or for leisure.
Turning magic with Disney
If you want to keep the kids busy during holidays, you also might want to consider a Eurostar trip to Disneyland Paris. Luckily, direct Eurostar trains from the UK to Disneyland Marne la Vallée station run in just 2 hours 34 minutes and leave every day at 09: 44 to return from Disneyland Paris at 1937.
Just keep in mind that they do not run on Tuesdays and Saturdays except during UK school holidays.
Breaking into the home of comic book
Want to dive into the legendary home to Hergé, the famous creator of Tintin? Just go to St Pancras Eurostar train station and take one of the numerous daily Eurostar trains leading to this very artistic city, also capital of the European Union.
You will reach Brussels Midi train station in less than two hours and if you feel hungry, some traditional “moules-frites” or waffles are always on hand to keep your strength up. For the most adventurous, just keep in mind that Amsterdam is only one single connection from Brussels.
And if you still want to discover the charm of France without going as far as Paris, you could still make a stop in Lille. Eurostar schedules on the London-Brussels route will enable you to find some suitable slots to discover the Flemish influence of this city, located just one hour from London.
A wider network of destinations
Eurostar trips are also available on other destinations. In less than 6 hours, you could enjoy the beauty of Provence by taking a Eurostar train from London to the former papal city of Avignon in the summer, and with a single simple connection throughout the year.
During winter time, from mid-December till mid-April, you can board a Eurostar ski train at St Pancras International or Ashford International, board a TGV in Lille and be whisked direct to the resorts of Moûtiers, Aime-la-Plagne or Bourg-St-Maurice at 186 mph overnight or by day.
