Saarbrucken, a long history, a great result
Saarbrucken is a city located in the Sarre land, in western Germany. Set up on the french border, Saarbrucken is a central city in Europe and can be reached easily from Germany, Belgium, France and Luxemburg.
The history of Saarbruck, which was alternatively french and german, gave this city an amazing melting of architectural styles.
Saarbrucken is Particularly symbolised by the baroque style monuments built during the 18th century by the architect Friedrich Joachim Stengel. Among them, on the Ludwigplatz, the Saint Louis’ church, considered as one of the most beautiful baroque style building of Germany, is waiting for you. Another gem of baroque architecture is the Saint John basilic. Saarbrucken also presents many interesting museums such as the Sarre’s museum or the Prehistoric and Protohistoric museum.
Before leaving Saarbrucken, have a walk around the Franco-German garden. You will be pleased to see the famous world of Gulliver presented in this park.

I booked my onward rail trips to Luxembourg and Frankfurt through RailEurope, with the option to print the tickets at home. However, when I booked this particular trip, the ONLY option I was given was ticket delivery to my home address! Imagine my horror, as I had only booked it four days before the trip, and I live ten of thousands of miles from France where the tickets were meant to be issued! I panicked, but still proceeded with the purchase. What I didn't know was, RailEurope has a regional representative in Singapore near where I live! Fair enough, I got my tickets two days before I traveled to France! I was overjoyed! The train trip itself was problem-free, and it departed on schedule. I have always had faith in the European rail system, and this has been fortified many folds when RailEurope handled my purchases with no trouble at all! Will I buy rail tickets through RailEurope again in future? Of course I will! In fact, I will encourage others to do it! Bravo, RailEurope!

- "Regular ok impression" Rodica m. 16/01/2014
The trip was actually very convenient, in terms of timing - only 2 hours and you reach Paris, at a good located train station, with direct access to the metro system. Otherwise, the trip was a regular one, with ok chairs, with 3 languages on board, and wish space for luggages :)

My wife and I were travelling Europe and took many train rides on our journey. This was by far one of the best train experiences we had. Super easy, convenient, and a fast train ride.

Our trip from Parisito Saarbruecken Hbf was smooth and comfortable. Good value fir money as we were looking not to spend too much on inter country travel. Toilets were ok. All staff were helpful and professional. Definitely using this service again!
