Krakow can brag about having the largest marketplace in Europe, where many historic houses and palaces deserve a detour. Standing in the middle: the Cloth Hall of Renaissance style is the oldest shopping gallery in Krakow.

Take a walk by the remains of the medieval ramparts, discover the defence towers and head for the barbican erected in the 15th century. Stroll in Kazimierz streets in the Jewish along the interesting art galleries nearby pubs and restaurants. Reach the Wawel hill: visit the Royal Castle with its magnificent royal celebration room, its splendid Royal apartments and its amazing armory.

Enter the gothic Wawel cathedral and climb up to the top of the fascinating Sigismond tower to discover its tenor bell.
